Melody and Nathaniel
Hello! We are Nathaniel and Melody
We want to thank you for taking the time to consider us as a possible family for your child.
We can only imagine how difficult this decision is and we so admire you for wanting what is best, no matter what you decide. If you do choose us, we can promise your child will be incredibly loved and cared for. Since we got married in 2019, adoption has always been in our hearts. After four years of infertility and miscarriage, God has opened our hearts to the beauties of adoption. We have been praying for the opportunity to parent and dream that your child will grow up to be a confident and flourishing adult.
About Us
We just celebrated our fifth anniversary!
We got married at the church where we met. We had lots of family and friends there. For the reception, the sanctuary was shaking so much during the dance party that we thought we would fall through the floor! We went to New Zealand for our honeymoon and traveled around in a van. It was a beautiful country and we would love to go back someday.
We love spending time together. In the winter, we like to cozy up inside and binge TV shows (some of our favorites are The Office and Parks and Rec) or compete in card games like Rummy and Egyptian Rat Race. Melody also makes the best popcorn ever : air-popped with lots of salt and butter! In the summer, we love to be outside – playing tennis, taking walks, sitting by a campfire reading books. We LOVE watching baseball (Go Phillies!) – we try to go to a couple of Philly games a year. We have several friends that we spend time with regularly – we like to go on a double date every week. Usually, we eat a meal and play games.
Home sweet home!
We live in Pennsylvania and love experiencing all four seasons.
We have two bedrooms and one bath in our townhouse. We have a small backyard that isn’t quite big enough for a swing set but it has a campfire pit and a garden. Since we live in a town, there are playgrounds, trails, and several young neighbors to have fun with. Our community is very diverse and you can find support for any issue you run into – any problem you have, someone nearby has walked through it. We have several families in our community who have adopted and one friend in particular who was adopted himself. Our child will be able to grow up in a community that supports them and can mentor them through shared experiences. We are excited to have so many people to lean on for advice through the process! There is a local pool, playground, baseball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, and rec centers. The town we live in has family friendly events every month to encourage the community to get to know each other. Every September there are several fairs in the area. Our small town has the biggest street fair in the area and it’s just one block from us! There is lots of good food (fries, funnel cakes, milkshakes), rides (Ferris wheels, mini roller coaster) games (bingo, skee ball), and animals (goats, cows, baby chickens, pigs, etc.). Our town also holds a street parade that lasts for 2 hours with lots of tractors, trucks, and local businesses, all throwing candy to the children. It's the best time of the year! There is also a lake nearby for fishing and kayaking.

“I pray that God, the source of all hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in Him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Thank you!
We are so honored that you took the time to learn about us and we’re confident you will make the best choice for your child.
If you do end up choosing us, we will honor your sacrifice and YOU as your child grows up. Your child will know their story and learn to celebrate all facets of it. We will never keep their adoption story a secret from them. We promise to be involved parents and will talk often about their beginnings, their adoption story, and the emotions that come along with it. You are an important part of their story and we hope that you will be able to continue a relationship with your child as they grow, whatever that looks like for you. We will be praying for you during this time of decision-making and loss.
May God give you peace.
