Our Story

This year we're celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary and 20 years as best friends and partners.

Our love story began in 2004 in New Orleans, in the freshman dorms of Tulane University; through mutual friends, we ended up on the same intramural soccer team. The rest was history!

We've built a strong connection with similar interests in sports, music, travel, food/cooking, nature and adventure. We also love to host friends and family in our home for dinner, parties and holiday celebrations!

We can't wait to make more memories when we take our children to their first sports game and hike and explore national and state parks. 

Jack is our sweet three-year-old son. He is a ball of energy that loves airplanes, cars, ABCs and counting his numbers.

Home and Family

We live in a big city Texas. We like to take advantage of the museums, food and culture that the city offers and at the same time enjoy our quiet and family-friendly neighborhood.

Our cozy home has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a home office. We have plenty of space for a newborn, and Megan can't wait to decorate a welcoming and safe nursery. We have a large yard and driveway for playing. When the weather is nice, you can find us on our covered patio grilling while we catch a football game on TV.

We are blessed to share close bonds with our siblings and parents and to have their love and support, including during this adoption journey. Your child is not just gaining a mother and father, but our village. They will truly drop anything to help us! 

While our families do not currently live in the same city, we make time to communicate with them almost daily, welcome them in our home multiple times per year and take trips to visit them as much as possible.

We love any excuse to celebrate, especially with flare and matching outfits! We also love to cook and bake and host a cookie swap party at Christmas. Creating memorable holidays is very important to us.
