About Us

We met in 2017 through mutual friends and have been married since 2020, with God always at the center of our relationship and daily routines.

Golfing is one of our favorite pastimes, offering both relaxation and some friendly competition. We love kayaking and biking with our dog, Danny—he enjoys the adventures just as much as we do, especially when we find fun ways to include him! Traveling is also important to us, whether it's a quick getaway or a longer vacation, since we both grew up not taking many trips. Our faith is central to our lives, and attending church with our group of friends makes it even more special. Spending quality time with friends and family is a top priority for us, and we cherish those moments. We love hiking the beautiful trails near our home, especially the one that goes around the lake. On rainy days, we enjoy watching documentaries on topics ranging from sports to unsolved mysteries. We've also gotten into DIY projects around the house—JJ's becoming quite the handyman! Tackling home projects has become a fun way for us to be creative and make our space truly our own.

Home sweet home!

We live in a cozy 2300 sq. ft. ranch-style home in a small Midwest town.

Our house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, two family rooms, and a fenced yard perfect for play. Our neighborhood is full of young families, with a cute park just a block away. Some of our best friends live next door with their newborn and dog. JJ grew up in this town, and we knew it was the perfect place to start our family. Megan’s parents, Kim and Lowell, are incredibly supportive, always helping with home projects or caring for us when needed. Her brother Logan, a police officer, is excited to marry his fiancée, Callie, this October. JJ’s parents, Keri and Ron, live close by and love hosting family dinners and taking care of our dog, Danny. Megan’s younger brother, Lee, is an architect with a creative spirit. Our family is all about building a warm, welcoming home filled with love and laughter.
