Hi there! We are Lindsey and Jamel

We know that you are making a really tough decision. Thank you for considering us as potential parents for your child. We know that what you are doing is the hardest thing you will ever have to do. Neither of us have been in your position so we can’t even begin to know what you are going through. We just know that we will be the very best parents that we can possibly be.

Our Story

We are considering adoption for a number of reasons. Jamel was adopted as a child and wants to provide a good life for a baby. Lindsey's brother-in-law was also adopted. We both love children and can't wait to be parents. We know that we will provide a safe and happy home for a baby.

Loving life-balance, Lindsey is really happy to have a very flexible job. She helps high school students apply to college and loves her work. 

Through hard work and perseverance, Jamel founded his own moving company. The company is in its third year and is thriving.

Home sweet home!

We just bought a new house last year. We love it! We live on a street with friendly neighbors and in a community with a pool and a lot of playgrounds. Our house has a great front porch and a big screened in back porch. Lindsey's sister, Tracy, lives in walking distance to our new house and she and Lindsey's nephews ride their bikes over often. Jamel's sister, Shamika, lives only a few miles away and also visits every week!

Favorite Family Traditions

• We live in a neighborhood that loves Halloween. The kids have a huge parade and everyone gets candy. It is so much fun! 

• We love to go to the beach and take a family trip to the coast of NC every summer. We love to play in the sand with our nephews.
