Hello! We are Shawn and Courtney!

We know this may be a confusing and scary time for you while you are trying to figure out the best plan for your child. We are praying that you will find peace, strength, and comfort throughout this journey. We admire your bravery as you explore all options for your child. If you decide to choose us to adopt your child, we want you to know that you and your child will be loved and cared for no matter what. If chosen, we can't wait to get to know you and your family. Our hope is that your baby will see you and their adoptive parents as a team. We pray that we will be able to work together to make choices that are in the best interest of your baby.

We want your baby to know you and have a relationship with you so they can truly understand how loved they are.

 
 

About Us

We have been married for 8 years!

We met during college and got married right after we graduated. We love to do everyday things with each other, from making coffee in the morning to completing house projects. Courtney is a homebody, and I love to be with her. We love to cuddle on the couch and watch reality TV and sports, especially if it's a University of Michigan team. We both enjoy playing volleyball, and we love to play board and card games. Game nights with friends is one of our favorite weekend activities. Also, we love ice cream and food. We enjoy traveling to new places and usually take a food tour if possible.

 

Home sweet home!

We bought our first home in 2019. It is a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath tri-level home built in 1976. When we looked to buy this house we knew it would be the perfect place to make it our own and raise a family. As soon as we got the keys, we went and knocked a wall down, and transformed the whole house. We love our backyard, we were able to fence off our garden and still have room for our two dogs to run around and play. We love to spend quality time with friends and family. We enjoy game nights and hosting bonfires in our backyard!

Our dream is for our home to be a place that is filled with many laughs and memories.

 

Family Traditions!

  • During the first snowfall, Shawn grills steaks outside for dinner.

  • Each summer we go camping with Courtney's family.

  • Most Fridays are pizza and movie night!

  • We buy a Christmas ornament wherever we travel.
